The social hierarchy that is school labels and defines students. That girl you called a slut in class today. She’s a virgin. The pregnant girl walking down the street. She got raped. The boy you called lame. He has to work every night to support his family. That girl you pushed down the other day. She’s already being abused at home. That girl you called fat. She’s starving herself. The boy you made fun of for crying. His mother is dying. You think you know them. Guess what? You don’t. Further researchers might also find it useful to examine which modeling approach, a computer-based modeling approach or a modeling approach based on laboratory settings, can support better students on developing modeling skills that can use in novel situations. Moreover, further research could be conducted in order to study how students experiences and confidence with computers or laboratory settings can affect two different modeling approaches similar with those of the present study.
